Training and Certification

The trainings allow to avoid misinterpretations of the OKR model and to get straight to the results. The training is a quick way to understand the thinking behind OKRs. Certification is also an indication of an internationally recognized level of competence. The training also offers excellent networking opportunities: you can share experiences and best practices with your peers.

Certification training provides a basis for understanding the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) model through best international practices. The content of the certification package is produced by the OKR mentors community. We enrich certification training with Finnish expertise and local practices.

The training is user-oriented. The focus is on interactive workshops and group discussions that help you deepen your learning and develop your coaching skills. The trainings aim at deep learning. Our trainings provide a comprehensive understanding of the OKR method, its history and best practices. You will be equipped with practical tools that you can immediately use in your own work.

The trainings are available in Finnish and English.

There are four different types of certification training:

• OKR Practitioner (OKRP): The OKR Practitioner is the first step in the implementation of an OKR approach. The training provides employees, front-line staff and management with a basic understanding of OKR thinking.
• OKR Leader (OKRL): Training for team leaders, managers and others who lead teams or organizations where the OKR model will be introduced.
• OKR Champion (OKRC): Training for torch bearers and coaches within an organization who will support their organization’s OKR journey.
• OKR Professional Coach (OKRPC): training for advanced internal and external consultants who support the introduction and implementation of the OKR model for up to multiple organizations.

• OKR Professional Coach Training, Autumn 2025

The OKR Professional Coach Certification Training is for professionals who want to deepen their OKR knowledge and develop their coaching skills. The training is particularly suitable for internal and external consultants, organizational leaders, team leaders and HR professionals who want to help their clients achieve their goals. Whether you are an experienced professional or a new coach, this training will provide you with practical tools and methods to support the success of your organization.

We will go through practical case studies and exercises that will give you the skills to apply theoretical knowledge to real, everyday situations. This practical and solution-oriented approach will not only strengthen your understanding but, more importantly, equip you to tackle the real challenges of implementing OKRs in your own work.

The OKR Professional Coach certification training includes four sessions (18 August, 1 September, 29 September and 13 October) and independent learning between sessions. All meetings will be held in Kluuvi, Helsinki. Remote participation is not possible.

As part of the course, you will receive a workbook and templates that you can use on your projects. The materials will help you to get started quickly on your OKR projects and save  yourself valuable time. Course participants will also get one year access to a network of OKR mentors. The network provides ongoing coaching and mentoring, and ensures that you get the support you need even after the programme ends. This allows you to benefit from the expertise of experienced professionals and further develop your OKR coaching skills.
