Fintraffic Railway
Together with Fintraffic Railway, we built a practical bridge between strategy and everyday work. We supported teams in identifying where and how development efforts create value — using the OKR model in a way that ensures objectives guide both prioritisation and delivery. In addition, we helped Fintraffic Railway create its own Development Playbook, including a customized method (tai way) of OKR use as a central element
Using the OKR model as a tool for strategy execution, value creation through development, and collaboration
At Fintraffic Railway, Atlassian tools (Goals, Jira, and Confluence) are used to clearly connect objectives, related key results, and concrete work items into a transparent and coherent structure. Alongside this, we delivered OKR Mentors Professional Coach trainings for Fintraffic Railway, strengthening the capabilities of those responsible for OKR adoption to lead execution effectively in everyday work.
The collaboration was practical, iterative, and firmly anchored in the teams’ daily realities: we planned together, experimented quickly, and conducted regular check-ins to learn and continuously refine the approach. As a result, a shared and transparent operating model was created in which:
- strategic objectives are visible in teams’ day-to-day work and actively guide focus
- there is a clear line of sight into the value created by the work
- strategic alignment across development initiatives is supported
- team-level ownership and routines for executing strategy are strengthened
